Thread: Hot orange or pink 70 Denier
Bead: Gold Tungsten, Size 2.3mm (3/32), (sized to match the hook)
Weighted wire: Eight wraps of 0.015 weight
Rib: Fine gold or copper wire
Tail: Six pheasant tail fibers
Body: Six pheasant tail fibers
Hot Spot: Hot orange or pink 70 Denier
Notes:
The Frenchie is essentially a bead head pheasant tail pattern with a dubbing hot spot some anglers will argue that the hot spot represents an egg while others claim it’s simply a color trigger. Whatever the reason, one thing is for sure: this pattern is likely to turn the feeding mechanism of any lethargic fish.
