About this fly
*Note: To prepare the wing: Select an Almond Heart feather that is slightly larger than needed. Mount the dull side of the feather to the sticky side of a piece of clear packing tape carefully, keeping the feather barbs neat and together. Trim the excess tape away, and fold the feather along the rachis so that the shiny side of the feather is on the outside and the tape backing is on the inside. Trim the feather wing to size and shape while folded to ensure even wings.
