Contrast the tail and body colors
Tie in a tail shorter than the shank length
Chose a marabou with a fine flexible stem (quill). Clip the tip of a marabou and tie in at tail by the tip. Palmer the feather up the body to the behind the eye pulling the fibers back as you wrap.
Tie off, clip extra, wrap eye, whip finish, use penetrating head cement.
