Notes:

This is an older variant to an Orvis pattern. The chenille from the original called for silver tinsel chenille. 

The chenille is tied in at the front and wrapped back to the bend and tied off at the back. Then dub the muskrat and bring it forward over the chenille.

Leisenring was quite particular about the ingredients in his flies… the example is tied with twisted yellow thread and not buttonhole twist
