tail: three barbs – rusty dun rooster / cock hackle

rib: one strand of 3 ply yellow buttonhole twist

body: muskrat fur in a dubbing loop with thread showing at beginning of loop at tail

hackle: rusty dun hen

Notes:

a Jim Leisenring fly from the recipe in The Founding Flies by Mike Valla

Leisenring was quite particular about the ingredients in his flies… the example is tied with twisted yellow thread and not buttonhole twist
