Tied By Shannon Wood
Hook: Japan Hook #12
Thread: Danville’s 210 Denier white
Materials- belly: Peacock Hurl tail: Brown Bucktail head: Cream White Fine Saddle Hackel
Notes:
Early spring I have come to see that some dry flies work a little better than others. I have played around and tied up what I call the winged Bucktail. Bluegill and Shell Cracker have been hitting this fly on up in the morning when the Sun comes out completely. Has worked very well for a late morning topwater bite. From small stream bass to almost any kind of bream.
