Materials- tip: Small oval silver tinsel (veevus) tag: Yellow silk floss (kyoto) tail: Golden pheasant crest veiled by kingfisher butt: Black Ostrich herl rib: Medium silver oval tinsel(veevus) body: 2 equil segments made of flat silver tinsel(lagartun) bisector by a butt of black Ostrich herl and each veiled above and below by Indian crow sub (David Kerr) throat: Kingfisher blue saddle hackle (feathersmc) underwing: Light mottled turkey tail wing: Yellow red and blue turkey, dark mottled turkey and golden pheasant tail sides: Teal and gray mallard flank married overwing: “Roof” bronze mallard topping: Golden pheasant crest horns: Blue and gold macaw tail head: Black Ostrich herl

This is from Kelsons book The Salmon Fly. A nice and rather simple fly in its construction. The veiling present the most challenge.
