The Carburetor Fly

Dry Fly
Tied By Richard Harris
Hook: J2 430 size 8-12
Thread: UTC Hopper Yellow 140D
Bead:
Body Parts: body, wing, thorax, hackle, legs, wing case
Materials: Thread and Cooper Brown Wire Brassie for size 10, Bleached Elk, Peacock hurl or Peacock dubbing, Brown saddle, Round rubber, Tan foam 2mm gap wide.
Notes:
This is The Carburetor Fly. I am told it is to be fished with the body low in the water. The wing is to be at a 45 deg angle which will cause the body to sit lower in the water. On some I mixed a little Brite Blend Purple dubbing with peacock Herl dubbing
