Thread: rusty brown or to match hackle and tail
Materials-
tail: 8-10 long hackle fibers
rib: silver tinsel
body: yellow floss
front hackle: soft wet fly same color as tail

Tie in the thread an eye length behind eye
Tie in tail fibers and thread wrap to hook bend; tail should be length of shank
Tie in silver tinsel
Tie in body floss
Wrap body floss creating a slightly tapered body; catch in, tie off, clip extra
Spiral wrap the tinsel over the body; catch in, tie off, clip extra
Tie in the front hackle (Fling & Puterbaugh tie in the hackle by the butt end, but do as you please); wrap hackle; catch in, tie off, clip or snap off extra stem (quill)
Thread wrap head; whip finish; head cement.
