Rz’s Mangrove Slider is designed by Capt Roan zumFelde of Naples, Florida. This fly has a Dahlberg Diver type of head; so you could substitute the deer hair head to one of those foam styles, like the Dahberg Diver heads by Rainy’s. I would suggest that for this pattern to use a large size head. From my understanding that the Mangrove Slider with the deer hair has just the right amount of wiggle for snook, redfish, and small tarpon; we will see what movement I will get. This fly might also work for largemouth bass as well.
