Materials- Tail/Belly: Steve Farrar SF Blend (White) roughly a ½ wide overwing 2: Steve Farrar SF Blend (Silver Scale White) roughly a pinch overwing: Steve Farrar SF Blend (Grey) roughly a pinch topping: Steve Farrar SF Blend (Midnight Blitz) head: Fish Mask #7 (Allows the fly to be fished in the Water Mid-Column) eyes: Living Eyes (Wind) Size 7.0mm
Notes:
Tie thread to 2 -3 eye lengths back of hook eye. Length of SF Blend is folded and cut in half. Manipulate material to have a tapered appearance. Tie SF Blend in layers with end just past the bend of the hook and reverse tied the material. Comb material as each layer is tied toward the eye.
