Materials: Silver Krystal Flash, white marabou, tied in reverse over eye and folded back, black marabou, tied in reverse over eye and folded back, epoxy, white enamel with black enamel dot, red enamel
Notes:
a Kieth Fulsher fly from the recipe in The Founding Flies by Mike Valla
the head is 1/4 to 1/3 the length of the hook shank
tie in the marabou behind the eye with the marabou out over the eye (reverse)
fold back the marabou tight and make a wide thread wrap between the head and the body
cover the head in epoxy
paint on white eyes with a black dot
paint on the gills on the underside of the thread band at back of head
