Hook: #10 – 14 nymph / wet

Thread: brown

Materials-

head: gold tungsten bead

tail: pearl crystal hair

rib: gold oval

body: fur dubbing (amber, cream, olive, brown)

thorax: fur dubbing (orange, red)

Notes:

Thread on a gold tungsten bead to fit the hook
Twist on some weighted wire to desired weight
Lay down a thread base tying in the weighted wire
Tie in a short pearl crystal hair tail
Tie on a gold oval strand for the rib
Dub on a fur body: choose amber, cream, olive, or brown; leave room for a thorax behind the bead
Wrap the gold oval rib forward over the body in spiraling wraps
Dub on a fur thorax in orange or red between the body and bead
Whip finish behind the bead; head cement the knot
