Hook: Orvis size 6 natural bend straight eye micro barb

Thread: Semperfi nano silk 100D black

Materials- tail: Deer body hair from local taxidermist rib: .2mm warm gold wire by River Runs USA abdomen: Poly yarn yellow from Creative Angler body hackle: Black/ White grizzly hackle feather from Jordan Kerbie’s Hackle Chickens wing: Deer hair body from local taxidermist front hackle: Brown hackle feather from a hide I processed thorax: Sparkle frog fine dry fly dubbing golden stone color from fly tyers dungeon head: Black nano silk 100D thread from Semperfi with thin UV resin

Notes:

Start your thread a little over a third of the way back the shank and wrap all the way into the bend of the hook, then tie in the sacked deer hair (between 10 – 15 stands). Advance the thread forward to where you started the thread. Tie in the wire and then tie in the yellow poly yarn, wrap the poly yarn around the hook over lapping each turn till reaching where you started thread and tie off. Tie in the grizzly hackle by the stem and palmer to the tail. Then tie off with wire and counter wrap to the start place tie off. Then tie in the deer hair wing (between 20 – 25 strands). Tie in brown hackle feather and then dub the thorax with golden stone dubbing. Wrap the brown hackle close to the eye and build your head with the thread whip finish and use thin resin then cure with a resin torch (flashlight).
