About this fly
I use a piece of thread to keep the three fibers separated. Midge hatches occurs throughout the year. These flies are effective as a dropper almost any time during the year. This fly can also be tied in many different color combinations. Color suggestions: Jan - Mar: Black Apr - May/Jun: Gray May/Jun - Sept/Oct: Tan to Yellow Oct - Nov: Orange Nov - Jan: Black Still Water: Red Year Round: Olive
