About this fly
tie in wire sort of bend of hook, dub on both sides of wire back to 2 eye lengths back from eye and tie in single herl. Dub around herl to just shy of eye. Palmer herl towards hook bend then capture it with the wire as you Palmer it forward. tie off and build small head just above eye. Finish with translucent UV or varnish
