About this fly
This is a slight variant to the goats toe from Peter O’Reilly’s book “flies of Ireland “. The rib in that book is Glo-Brite #4. It’s mostly used in spring but has been used when trout are sluggish.
What the Goat’s Toe imitates
- Soft hackle / North Country spider / flymph / wet fly
Inside the vault every material on this fly opens to its own card, and you can save the fly to your own boxes.
