In 1947 there was only one bucktail streamer in “Art Flick’s Streamside Guide” and it is this streamer. The Blacknose Dace streamer actually represents many various types of bait fish like chubs, dace and most small minnows that have the dark lateral line down their side.
Note: Many Recipes call for white impala or white bucktail and skunk or black bucktail in the wing
