Hook: Barbless dry fly hook size 14 (Wholesale Fly Company)
Thread: Uni-Thread 72D 8/0 rusty dunn (Cabelas)
Materials- body: Rusty dunn Uni-Thread (Cabelas) wing: natural teal CDC (Rocky Phillips) head: Rusty dunn Uni-Thread (Cabelas)
Notes:
Starting about a botkins width behind the eye attach your thread and run it back to where the hook barb is (or suppose to be). Then make a cigar shaped body with the thread staying about a botkin with behind the eye. Now gather 2-3 CDC feathers and attach behind the eye leaving enough room to build a head. Keep CDC on top of the hook shank. Cut off the ends of the CDC and then build your head and whip finish. Cut cdc to length of the hook and use a drop of super glue on the head
