Notes:
This is my version of the golden stonefly emerger. The only place I could find a pattern was through Meta AI. Place your hook in your vice, start your thread about a third of the way back the hook shank and run it down the shank all the way to the barb. Tie in your flat black med. wire and brown barred hackle feather. Then with your thread taper the body finishing up at the butt end and dub the abdomen. Palmer the brown barred hackle feather and tie off but don’t cut off. Trim all hackle off of the back of the abdomen. Tack in the black hackle by the tip with the tip pointing towards the hook end, grab black hackle feather by the tip and start pulling towards the hook point until you reach the desired length and slightly pull the opposite direction and tie in! Wrap the thorax with the dubbing then wrap in the collar with the brown barred hackle feather. Then wrap the head with the yellow nano silk! DARN I ACCIDENTALLY BROKE THE EYE OFF OF MY HOOK!!!!!!
