Materials- tail: two pheasant hen coverts body: flat silver tinsel underbody: white bucktail, sparse overbody: brown bucktail, sparse head: epoxy gills: red enamel eyes: white under black enamel

tie the bucktail shank length hanging out over the eye by the butt ends

fold the bucktail back and tie over with a band of thread to create a rather long head, apply epoxy (or UV resin)

paint the underside of the thread band with red enamel for gills

paint on eyes with enamel white under black
