This is a pattern that I love fishing just above the weeds. Because of the underbody foam, it allows this pattern to hover, so I like using a fast sink line (type 5-7) and casting over weeds and letting the line sink and allowing the fly to float above the weeds. Some aggressive pops of the fly line will entice the bite.
