Spirit River UV2 Caddis Nymph Dubbing features a range of primary colors enhanced with UV properties. This dubbing is ideal for tying caddis flies, mayflies, and stoneflies. The UVR/UVF treated fibers provide a subtle yet effective shimmer and flash. UV2 Technology involves a double-dye process that adds UVF (ultraviolet fluorescence) and UVR (ultraviolet reflectance) to materials. UV fluorescence, used in various applications like street signs, and UV reflectance, which is invisible to the human eye but common in nature, are both detectable by fish. This technology increases the effectiveness of flies in attracting fish.
Caddis Nymph Dubbing also comes in a dispenser with 12 colors, each in a convenient dispenser box with drilled holes for easy access. The fibers are buggy and soft, creating a translucent effect on your flies.
