Male green peafowls (Pavo muticus) are adorned with striking green and bronze or gold plumage, complemented by black wings that shimmer with a hint of blue. In contrast to the Indian peafowl, the female green peafowl closely resembles the male but features shorter upper tail coverts, a more coppery neck, and less iridescent plumage overall. Both males and females possess spurs.
