body: Estaz Medium, Pearl Chartreuse

overbody: Chartreuse Deer Hair

flash: Shrimp Pink Krystal Flash

underwing: Chartreuse Bucktail

Retying this pattern as Billy Trimble reached out to let me know that I should add some Estaz to the fly pattern (roughly 5 – 6 turns starting just behind the hook point)

While the Blind Chicken does not use dumbbell eyes to have allowed this fly to be fished hook point up, the concept of the deer body hair is to allow the hook to ride hook point up and to act as a weed guard. The brass cone head allows for a dedicate landing to that tailing redfish that is easily to be spooked if the blind chicken lands too close.

Tie this fly not only in (Tutti Frutti or Electric Chicken) but also the following color schemes: All White, White/Chartreuse, White/Pink, or the color or color combination of your choice.
