Materials-
tail: grizzly hackle fibers (or mix brown and grizzly)
body: muskrat fur
hackle: grizzly (or mix brown and grizzly)

Use a #16-26 dry fly hook
Lay down a base of black thread
Tie in a few fibers of Grizzly (or brown and grizzly) hackle fibers for the tail – a little less than hook shank length
Dub in a muskrat fur (or other natural brown / gray) body; leave room for the front hackle and head
Tie in the front Grizzly (or brown and grizzly mixed) hackle; wrap to desired width, tie off
Wrap a black head, whip finish, and head cement
