tail: Kreelex Fish Flash – Holographic Silver
underwing: Kreelex Fish Flash – Holographic Silver
wing: Kreelex Fish Flash – Holographic Gold
eyes: Dazl-Eyes, 1/8 Nickel
Notes:
The Kreelex is the KING of all streamers in my opinion. Chuck Kraft designed this fly but the process is very similar to tying a Clouser Minnow. The only difference is that the Kreelex has a tail and the Clouser portion is what I call the shirt. The shirt is trimmed at the mid-point of the tail.
Chuck Kraft created the Kreelex streamer specifically for targeting trout, but it has proved to be a deadly pattern for just about every game fish on the planet including bass, redfish, pinfish, speckled sea trout, perch, pickerel, and hardhead catfish.
